James Cecil Tabor

James Cecil (Jimmy) Tabor, 74, of Troutville, Va., went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 19, 2009. He attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Troutville. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Mary B. Tabor; sons, James Michael Tabor and wife, Kitty, and James C. "Bubba' Tabor Jr.; twin daughters, Karen and Kathy; daughters, Ellie, Deborah, Tammy, Donna, Hope and Dawn; numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; stepchildren, James Harley, Glenn Rayburn, Sherry Lee and Lorena Gay; brothers, Henry and Corky Tabor; and sister, Nancy Robertson. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. Doug Mitchell will officiate with Jerry Huff speaking. Interment will be in Old Tombstone Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
