Lennie Young Harrison

Lennie Young Harrison, 90, of Ferrum, Va., passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2009. She was born on June 10, 1919, a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Rosie Lee Young. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt E. Harrison; daughter, Iris Marie Bennett; three brothers; and three sisters. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Roger L. Harrison and wife, Alee; three grandchildren, James Michael Bennett and fiancee, Trina Maxey, Chester Dale Harrison, Joyce Humburg and husband, David; two greatgrandchildren, Lee Ann Bennett and Cynthia Marie Humburg; one stepgrandson, Milton Hartman; and one stepgranddaughter, Martha Lovell and husband, Troy. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2009, from the Young Family Cemetery with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Her family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount, Va.
