Agnes Elizabeth Jones Adams

Agnes Elizabeth Jones Adams, 91, of Pulaski, Va., died at home with her family by her side on Monday, October 26, 2009. Born July 31, 1918, in Wythe County, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin and Ellen Wolfe Jones. Her husband, Larry Joseph Adams, and two brothers, Peyton and Lewis Jones, also preceded her in death. She was a nurse's aid at the Old Pulaski Hospital for 14 years before retiring from Coleman Furniture. Family left behind to cherish her memory include daughters and sonin-law, Karl and Carolyn Hager, of Dublin, Darlene Harvey, of Pulaski; grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, James A. and Debra Hager, Julia and Cynthia Hager, of Hiwassee, Va., Thomas W. and Nicole Hager, Brooke and Stefanie Hager, of Max Meadows, Va., K. Jefferson and Terri Hager, Bailey Hager, of Belspring, Va., Michael E. Harvey and Melissa, Christopher and Elizabeth Harvey, of Radford, Va., Larry J. and Teresa Harvey, Noah, Luke and Eden Harvey, of Fredericksburg, Va. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bower Funeral Home, Chapel with the Rev. Neal Hawks officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
