Barry Mills Obituary

Barry Wayne Mills Sr., 62, of Blue Ridge, Va., passed away on Tuesday afternoon, November 3, 2009. Barry was employed by The Hotel Roanoke as a painting supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Christine Mills. Surviving is his loving wife of 42 years, Bonnie S. Mills; his daughter, Sissy Mills, of Salem; his son, Barry (Buck) Wayne Mills Jr., of Blue Ridge; his grandson, Shayne Sowers, of Salem; his brother, Denny L. Black and wife, Terri, of Salem; his sister, Jackie L. Mills, of Roanoke; his brotherin-law, Donald (Buddy) Wooldridge, of Blue Ridge; sister-in-law, Donna W. Barnett, of Salem; his beloved pets, Bubba, Sissy, FeFe, Brown Boy, and his special one, Hinkee. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009, in Glade Creek Cemetery, Blue Ridge with Dr. Ken Scoggins officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 6, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's East Chapel, Bonsack, Va., 540-977-3909.
