I moved away a couple of years after graduating from PH and have lived in Texas since so I just heard the news about Ricky. It's been well over 3 decades since I last saw him but I remember him well. I remember Ricky going for the "World" sit-up record - Ok, it was Woodrow Wilson Jr High - but that was our world then. He was always full of energy. We battled and we laughed as kids. At a time when so many of us were so worried about "fitting in" Ricky was a stand out. He always seemed so confident, and comfortable with himself and I admired that about him. There was only one Ricky Whitenack. I am saddened by his passing and my heartfelt sympathy goes to all he loved and who loved him. I know he will be missed.

Oh Rick,
You will be missed more than you know. I will always remember the sound of your laughter and what a great lead you were while dancing. And, yes, I promise to install the new dryer hose :) Rick, you left us too soon - but I know that you are now with your mother, father and David. I'll be looking forward to the PHHS reunion in Heaven. Love, Melinda
