Dear Dorthy,

I know you will read this soon and know that I am sorry I will not be there to hug you and say goodbye. As the tears leave my eye's know they are not because you passed but because we will not be able to see you live again like only you could. You have touched so many lives in so many ways I regret I could not always be there to see how you did but in journeys I will never forget and pass upon to others the things that you passed upon to me........

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Dear Virginia and family,
I knew Dorothy for many years and she never changed. Always ready to speak her mind, but had a smile and kind words also. She was one of a kind and she will be missed by all that knew her. Gone but never forgotten.
God's grace and mercy be with you always.

Dorothy was a shining light wherever she went. My boys (Adam and Victor) will always remember Dorothy for speaking her mind and caring enough to always ask about them. Now heaven has another reason to shine. Dorothy's spirit is there!

Dear Adela and Gaylord, (two of my favorite people). There was one thing that was clear, and that is that Dorothy was loved. And what a card she was! Always ready to make me laugh. And Adela, I can hear her now say "daughter"....and ask for your help, which you were always ready to give. She will be missed. Love to you both, Denise
