Juanita Morris Obituary

Juanita Trent Morris, 85, formerly of Ripplemead, Va., passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2009, at Richfield Retirement Community, where she had been a resident for the past eight years, first in independent living and the last five years in Assisted Living. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilmer, in 1988. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Midge Morris, of Bedford; one daughter and son-in-law, Hope and Gary Hoback, of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Shannon Lewey and his wife, Rebecca, and Megan Young and her husband, Todd; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, and Dylan Lewey. She is also survived by three sisters; and nine brothers. Arrangements are being made by Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke, Va. The Rev. Shahn Wilburn will hold a graveside service 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2009, at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the church of choice. Online condolences may be sent to kendallfuneralhome.com.

I have so many fond memories of Nita, such a sweet fun loving lady. I will never forget our road trip to IL for Shannon & Beci's wedding. She was always laughing & making us laugh. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
