Catherine Price Morris

Catherine Price (Odell) Morris, 79, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Essie Mae Price; her husband, Jack K. Morris; her children, daughter, Cathy; and son, Robert; sisters, Helen Minter, Beatrice Runyon and Dorothy Lipscomb; and brother, Russell Price. Surviving are her daughter, Sherry Ruble and companion, Todd Kincer, of Roanoke; son, Jack K. Morris II and fiancee, Tamara Lewis, of Midlothian; grandchildren, Joshua Ruble, of Virginia Beach, Michelle Ruble, of Roanoke, and Zackary and Tyler Morris, of Midlothian; sister and brother-in-law, Madeline and Jack Shelor, of Salem; brothers, Jimmy Price, of Richmond, and Billy Price and wife, Jeanette, of Roanoke; and sisters-in-law, Hazel M. Tucker, of Roanoke and Ann Wise, of Texas. The family would like to thank the second floor staff of Friendship Manor and Good Samaritan Hospice for their loving care given to Catherine during her illness. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. James Millsaps and the Rev. Shawn Dobbins will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
