Helen Lockett Obituary

Helen L. Lockett, 87, of New Castle, Va., passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald A. Lockett; parents, Met and Bertha Lee; and granddaughter, Christina M. Smith. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Fowler and husband, Joe; four grandsons; and many great-grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are two special nieces, Reba Vernon and Patsy Thomas; special great-nephew, Tim Vernon, who comforted her with prayer; many other family and friends; and special friend, Festus. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009, at Paitsel Funeral Home with the Reverend Wes Conner officiating. Interment will follow at Crowder Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2009. Arrangements by Paitsel Funeral Home, New Castle, Va. www.paitselfh.com.

We are sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom, Loved One,
Mrs. Helen was a spry lady and I'm sure touched many, many lives with her outgoing personality. We know that your Heavenly Father will bring you comfort and peace. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and we are here for you should you need us.
