Billy, we were so saddened by your Dads death. We always loved to run into him around town and Wallace loved talking to him about pool. He was a great guy and will be missed by many.

I had the honor of meeting Willie Jopling in Louisville when I drove his sister Sue to see him. He was such a pleasant gentleman whom I'll remember for a long time. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and keep you and your family safe.

I met Bill at the DCC, in the AZ room. I had the pleasure of getting to shoot a game of pool with him. He will be missed by all who met him. My condolences to his family.

Bill was a great friend of mine. At almost 84 years old he often came to my house and played pool with me. He was my mentor, teacher of one pocket as well as things in life. I admire him for his dedication and the work that he put into our game of billiards. Words will never be able to say how much I will truly miss him. So sorry to read of Bill's passing. We have many fond memories of Bill, and we know he is in a great place, they might even have a "table" or two for him to do his trick shots - not sure if they play jazz up there.

Bill was a unique individual, a man of many talents. He had the ability to make people feel comfortable around him. He was a friend from long ago whom we looked forward to having lunch with once a month. Our sympathy goes out to the family and his many friends.

My first contacts with Bill were in the late 70s when he would bring his amazing artwork to the photo lab to be photographed and printed, and I've always regarded him as one of the nicest people I ever met. We rarely saw each other since then, but my life was richer for having known him. My sense of loss at his passing can only be a hint of what his family and friends who were closer must be feeling. I wish all of you Peace in knowing that he is at peace.
