Frances Gezymalla Obituary

Frances Barbara Gezymalla, 91, of Christiansburg, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at the home of her son. She was born in Clymer, Pennsylvania on August 16, 1918 to the late Frank and Mary Bogacki Kopczyk. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gezymalla and a daughter, Kathleen Smith. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Christiansburg. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard E. and Joyce Gezymalla, of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Brian and Jennifer Gezymalla; and a brother, Louis Kopczyk. Funeral Mass will be conducted Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with Father John Prinelli officiating. Interment will be held Monday, November 30, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the All Saints Cemetery, Northfield, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg.
