Sandra Porterfield and Family:
I never knew so many beautiful things about your mother, Lula.
At the service today I wish I could have said more to comfort you and your family.
I only had the chance to meet her just a couple of times - she was on this Earth and will be forever a beautiful child of God.
Lean on your friends and family for strength, and always remember how much you are cared about.
I am not sure who wrote this beautiful thought but I want to share it with you.....
What moves through you now is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why the ones we love leave this earth so soon, or why they leave before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that they died, but that they lived. And that their life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
