The Turners have been our neighbors for the last 15 years. We warmed up to them as our family right away. Our children became their grandchildren and they were always so involved with whatever they could be. I will never forget so many acts of kindness that they showed to us. I will miss Mrs. Turner terribly but I rest in peace knowing that she is with her Lord and her beloved Bernard. Our condolences to Sarah, Mike and their family.

The Turners were our longtime neighbors when I was growing up in Roanoke. We came to think of them as family. She was such a character -- unforgettable! I'd love to know how many total hours she and Mom spent talking at each other's homes and on the phone in later years. We're sorry for your loss, Sarah --

We are so sorry for your loss. You were blessed to have such wonderful parents. We knew them when we were members of Troutville Baptist Church before moving to Marietta, GA and always enjoyed the visits we had with them.

My heart goes out to you Sarah, Mike, and family. I will never forget talking to Mrs.Turner on the phone. She was quite the lady and I know she is in the arms of Jesus and Mr.Turner. God Bless You all as you share in the memories of your Mom, Grandma, and friend. Hugs and Love, Julie
