Ruby Cline Burris

Ruby Cline Burris, 93, of Wytheville, Va., passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009. She was the daughter of the late James E. and Maude Sage Cline. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel M. Burris; and daughter, Barbara Jean Burris. She is survived by her special niece and husband, Janet and Barry Schwartz, of Georgia; special great-niece and husband, Rita and Randy Crockett, of Wytheville; and several other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Don Stansell with a graveside service held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, in the Monta Vista Memorial Gardens in Galax. The family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 p.m. until service time. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
