Sheila Shelton Obituary

Sheila Ann Shelton, 64, of Roanoke, Va., her beautiful soul left to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. She was born in Roanoke on February 20, 1945, daughter of the late Paul and Virginia Byrd Sellers. She loved and lived life on her own terms. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 46 years, Harold Shelton; two sons, Roger Shelton and Kendall Shelton; daughter, Glenda Shelton; two grandchildren, Hiliary Marie Shelton and Alan Jarret Shelton; sister, Wanda Sue Hurd and her husband, Jack; brother, Richard Herman Sellers and his wife, Peggy; and beloved nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel. Pastor Everett Craft will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 4:30 p.m. until service time at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.

My thought and prayers are with you at this difficut time. Shelia was a special soul and I'm blessed she was part of my life. I will always think of all the times we spent camping. Those are truely memories to treasure.
