Isaac H. Falls

Isaac H. (Ike) Falls, 76, of Troutville, Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 6, 2009. He was born in Buchanan, Va., on January 13, 1933, son of the late Harry S. and Louise Boblett Falls. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Huffman; and two brothers, Harry M. Falls and Leonard Eugene (Peter) Falls. Mr. Falls was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a very talented gardener. He was a member of the Troutville Church of the Brethren. He retired from G.E. in 1995 after 28 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Joanne Huffman Falls; son, Larry H. Falls and his wife, Stephanie, of Buchanan; three granddaughters, Sheryl Falls, Trisha Paskel and Cheyenne Falls; three great-grandsons, Tristen, Hayden and Ethan; two great-granddaughters, Brittney and Janida; son-in-law, Charles Edward (Eddie) Huffman; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2009, at the Troutville Church of the Brethren. Pastor Chris Foster will officiate. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at The Chapel Mausoleum of Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at Oakey's East Chapel, 540-977-3909.
