Martha Nunez Obituary

Martha Elizabeth Royer (Marci) Nunez, 42, formerly of Buena Vista, Va., passed away peacefully in her sleep from complications with her diabetes on Sunday, December 6, 2009. Born on November 30, 1967, she was the daughter of Bruce and Hilda Royer, of Buena Vista. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norman (Bill) Royer, Julia (Teeny) Royer, Frederick T. Kidd and Martha (Sis) Kidd Burch; and a special great-aunt, Francis Madison. In addition to her parents, she was survived by her husband, Gil Nunez, of Lake of the Ozark, Mo.; brother, Troy Royer and wife, Amanda; sister, Mitzi Jo Austin and husband, Bill, both of Buena Vista; three nieces, Tiffany R. Royer, Casey and Taylor, all of Buena Vista; aunt and uncle, Nancy and Harold Kidd, of Daleville, Va., and Jimmy and Julie Royer Ogden, of Virginia Beach. Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2009, at the Buena Vista Baptist Church by the Rev. Tim Madison and the Rev. Roy Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Arrangements by Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Va.
