Pearl Wrenn Obituary

Pearl Vera Wrenn, 92, of Christiansburg, Va., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 12, 2009. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Geraldine Wrenn; her parents, Harry C. and Pearl H. Dudley; four brothers, Elmer, Harry, Charlie and Melvin Dudley; three sisters, Alice and Thelma Sweeney and Helen Durham. Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved son, Marvin and wife, Mary Wrenn, of New Jersey; beloved daughters, Velma and husband, Lynnwood Martin, of Colonial Heights, Va., and Patricia and husband, Edward DeHart, of Riner, Va.; seven grandchildren, Darel, Anthony and Ashley Wrenn, Allen and Kevin Martin, Tracy Wilson, Eddie and Gregory DeHart; 11 great-grandchildren; also three sister-in-laws, Mildred, Norina and Helen Dudley. She was a member of the Christiansburg Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2009, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.

She was such a sweet and Special woman!I haven`t got a chance to see her later in years as I would have liked to, but I have special memories of her from years passed I will always treasure!
