Connie Parady Obituary

4/17/1941 ~ 12/9/2009 Connie M. Parady, 68, of Derby Line, Vt., and formerly of Salem, Va., died of cancer on December 9, 2009. She was born on April 17, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pa., a daughter of Matthew and Eleanor (Tompkins) Carolan. She married Larry K. Parady who survives her. Mrs. Parady graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor of psychology degree. Among her hobbies she enjoyed collecting dolls and making doll houses. She also enjoyed the company of her dog and cats. She lived in Salem for 20 years, working as a cashier in the Salem K-Mart and Valley 8 Cinema. She is survived by her husband, Larry Parady, of Troy, Vt.; two sons, Matthew Lovell and his wife, Lale, of Longmont, Colo., and Bernard Scott Lovell and his wife, Maureen, of Danielson, Conn.; and by a brother, Jack Carolan, of Florida. Services will be held in Vermont this spring. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Curtis-Britch Funeral Home, Newport, Vt.
