Daisy Mae Semones Dunford

Daisy Mae Semones Dunford, 80, of Wytheville, Va., died on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Noah and Rosa Goad Semones and a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Dunford, of Wytheville; brother, William Semones, of Roanoke; half sister, Mime Marshall, of North Carolina; and several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2009, at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, in Wytheville, conducted by Pastor David Tripp and Pastor Jim Cox. Interment to follow in the Banks Cemetery in Hillsville. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 19, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grubb Funeral Home. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
