Mildred Leech Obituary

Mildred (Bunny) Thompson Leech, 94, of Natural Bridge, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington. She was born November 21, 1915 in Lexington, Va., the daughter of the late Howard (Gil) Thompson and Ada Hinty Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stark Leech and her only child, William Steven Leech. She was a longtime member of High Bridge Presbyterian Church and the organist there for 29 years. She is survived by three nephews; one niece; ten grandnephews and nieces; and five great-grandnephews and nieces. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. January 9, 2010, at High Bridge Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the High Bridge Church Scholarship Fund in care of Thomas L. Thompson, Sr., 304 Marl Lane, Natural Bridge Station, VA 24579. Arrangements by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
