Frank Yanushewski Obituary

Frank Albert Yanushewski, 52, of Christiansburg, Va., died Monday, December 21, 2009, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Baltimore, Md., the son of the late Chester Yanushewski and Pearl Broda, of Baltimore, Md. He is survived by two daughters, Christina Reynolds and husband, Paul Reynolds, of Covington, and Katie Vila and her husband, Felix Vila and granddaughter, Kalise Divera, of Baltimore, Md. He is also survived by his fiancée, Brenda Stone and close friends, Jason Bartley and Linda Yanushewski, both of Christiansburg, Va.; niece, Beverly Trader and her husband, Harold Trader, and their three children, Katie, Brandon and Tiffany, of Milford, Del.; nephew, Howard "Buzzy" Granger, of Baltimore, Md. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2009, at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Vest officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. The Yanushewski family is being served by Horne Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.hornefuneralservice.com.

Frank, you always said that you thanked God for bringing me into your life. I thank God for everyday that I had you in my life. I will love you forever and my heartbreaks because you're not with me here on earth. You are a tough man and fought long and hard but I'm glad you're not in pain anymore.
