Sis. Hanes was the only one who befriended me at church when I moved to Virginia 12 years ago. She went out of her way to sit with me even if it meant moving from where she was already seated. She was a dear sweet lady that I loved dearly. We lost touch after she had to stop attending the 1st ward, but her kindness has stayed with me. I wish I could have said goodbye.

To her family - Frances was a beautiful woman. I hope you can find some small peace knowing that she touched so many people's lives for good, one of which is mine. God bless you.

Aunt Francis was a great Southern lady! Having her come to Pleasant Grove for family reunions and visits was always so exciting. She was always kind and interested in me. I will continue to miss her, but she lives on in my fondest memories of childhood. May you feel Heavenly Father's arms of comfort and compassion in your loss.
