Dawn and family,
I grew up on Albemarle and still live here with Mom. I will miss seeing Velma sitting outside and talking to her when I walk up the street. I was lucky enough to have brought our little girl by on Halloween and she gave Velma a hug. She was a lovely woman with a huge heart. My prayers go out to your family in this time of loss.

Dawn,
Danny and I want to extend our heartfelt wishes to you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Know that your mom is visiting with Howell, probably telling all the things we have been doing. All of those memories will stay in our hearts.

Dawn,
I have been thinking of you...you took good care of your mother. I will miss seeing your mother at family gatherings at Cathy's in Lynchburg. My best to you and all of your family,

Dawn & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I called you on Saturday to see how things were and got no answer. That concerned me since I knew you'd taken your mom home and no one was answering. Since I don't get the paper, I only found out tonight from checking online that she had gone home. Isn't it exciting to think that "Mom" was at the feet of Jesus to celebrate His birthday!! Just keep remembering that, even though you will be sad to not have her with you, she is in the absolute best place she could ever be. I love you and will see you soon. Look to Jesus for your comfort and peace - "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7
