Annie Hamilton Obituary

Annie Huffman Hamilton, 93, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, January 2, 2010, at Kendal of Lexington. She was born September 19, 1916, in Rockbridge County, daughter of the late Webster Huffman and Lethia Henson Huffman. She was a member of Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Hamilton; five brothers; and two sisters. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by two sons, Lewis W. Hamilton and wife, Peggy, Ora "Dickie" Hamilton and wife, Dot, all of Buena Vista; four daughters, Shirley Wood, Patsy Lewis and husband, Dickie, Bonnie Staton and husband, Lloyd, all of Buena Vista, Sue Moore and husband, Bobby, of Natural Bridge; 15 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; and 4four greatgreatgrandchildren; and a very special person, Delmas Beverly. Funeral services will be conducted at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Bain and the Rev. Nathan Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, January 4, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
