Beatrice Webb Obituary

Beatrice Altizer Webb, of Natural Bridge, Va., passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Born in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Nora Switzer Altizer and Charles Lee Altizer. Bea is survived by her husband of 58 years, Virgil Webb; a son, Reggie Webb, of Crozet, Va.; two grandchildren, Mattie and Cyrus Webb, of Crozet; daughter-in-law, Kathy Webb, of Crozet; two sisters, Bernice Altizer Hickman, of Lexington, and Alma A. Harris, of San Francisco; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2010, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joshua King officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Natural Bridge Fire Department & Rescue Squad, 5705 S. Lee Highway, Natural Bridge, Va. 24578. Arrangements by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Va.
