Clara McClelland Obituary

Clara (Sis) McClelland, 91, of Radford, Va. and Melbourne, Fla., a retired high school teacher, died Friday, January 8, 2010. She was born in Melbourne, Fla. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and Tempo Club. Clara was a resident of Radford for 30 years before returning to Florida in 1981. She is survived by her son, Dr. George B. McClelland Jr.; grandsons, Todd Stewart and Brett Erick McClelland; brother, Jack Stewart; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred 'Babe' and Spike Sulivan; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Stewart. She was predeceased by her husband, George B. McClelland; and brother, A.H. 'Bud' Stewart Jr. Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 12, 2010, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Donations may be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
