Her smile and gentle laughter will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church at 408 N. Mildred was a neighbor and the mother of my two best friends at that time, Bruce (BB) and Debbie. Mildred was an incredible cook and homemaker. To this day I still remember a cake that she made and brought to me while I was in the hospital recovering from a broken arm. I have yet to enjoy its equal. There were many days when I would be at her home playing with BB and Debbie and she would feed me along with them. The food was always delicious. Even at my young age I would marvel at how she at ease she was when making it. I will always remember Mildred“s kindness towards a neighbor kid like me - always so warm and welcoming.

BB, Debbie and family. We just found out about your mothers passing and wish to espress our deepest sympathy. At Christmas your mom was spoken about with loving memories at our family gathering as we shared some pickles Jeanne found at an Amish market that reminded all of the many jars they were given from your mothers pantry. I am currently transfering some of my dads slides to cd and finding your mom and dad with our parents on many outings. We think of you often and will keep you in our prayers. Peggy
