Wendy Fisher Obituary

WendySaunders Fisher  1974 ~ 2004  ROY – Wendy Saunders Fisher, 29, passed away Friday, April 9 at the University Medical Center.  Wendy was born May 20, 1974 in Ogden, Utah to Kevin Ray and Cynthia Isom Saunders. She married Douglas Edwin Fisher September 4, 2001 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  She attended the Clearfield public schools as a straight 'A' student, and received the Clearfield High Principal's award. She received an Associate degree from Steven Henager's.  She graduated from the Weber State University Institute of Religion.  Wendy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many callings. She served in the California, San Diego mission from July, 1995 to November, 1996. She was a loving daughter of God and went the extra mile in every challenge. In her husband's words, She was the world's greatest human.  She was formerly employed by America First Credit Union, where she met her husband, Doug.  Wendy enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading and attending book club meetings with friends, listening to '80's music', watching movies, Jazz games, and dates with her husband, and being a homemaker. She was loved by all her nephews and nieces and known as the favorite Aunt .  She is survived by her husband, Doug, parents Kevin and Cindy Saunders, In-laws, Sheldon and Barbara Fisher; grandparents Leland & Leila Saunders and Sam and Margene Isom. Her  brother, Sam Saunders, brothers-in-law: Laurence (Sharee) Fisher, Steve Fisher and Brad Fisher. Her sisters: Gwen Dickson, Saralee (Andy) Allen; Jenny (Jim) McKinnon; Susanna (Matt) Yardley, sister-in-law Julie Ickes.  Preceded in death by her great-great-grandmother Cleone Isom, great-grandmother Katie Ware, great-grandfather Howard Ware, and great-grandfather and grandmother Saunders.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd.  Friends may call Tuesday, April 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.  Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.  e‑mail condolences to the family at [email protected]

Wendy, you will truly be missed by all of us. I love you, My family loves you! You are a inspiration to all of us who have been there from YOUR start in this mortal existance. You have the biggest heart of all of us! God bless you for your determination to live, and carry on in this life with all of your health problems. I remember how thrilled your parents were when you were born, and the love, and excitment they had just to have you. You have brought us all so much happiness and rose above all your trials.
