McKensie Rae Gwilliam Our "Rae" of Sunshine McKensie Rae Gwilliam, 15 months, died October 12, 2008 after a courageous six month battle withLeukemia. She was born in Lawrence, Kansas, on June 22, 2007, to Brandon and Tiffany (Koch) Gwilliam. She brought peace and added light to our home. She enlivened the lives of her two older brothers. They loved her and she them. Though her life was short, it was not in vain. For hundreds of people were touched by her enthusiasm for life, our family has become more united, and all of us have drawn closer to the Lord. Her life became a witness to us that the gospel of Jesus Christ truly does provide peace in times like these. Our hearts take great comfort in knowing that she is part of our eternal family. She is survived by her parents; brothers, Carson and Coleman; grandparents, Steven and Pamela (Wilhelm) Koch, Tom and Penny (Drury) Gwilliam, all of Sandy, Utah; great-grandmothers and other relatives. Family, friends, hospital staff, and fellow ward members, thank you for all of the service on our behalf. We could not have endured this without your support. A funeral service will he held on Sat., October 18, 2008, at 10 a.m. It will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located at 2130 E. 10000 S. (Gyrfalcon), Sandy, UT. Viewing to begin at 8:30 a.m. Interment to Salt Lake City Cemetery. Contributions may be sent to the McKensie Rae Gwilliam memorial fund in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th St. Lawrence, KS 66044.
