Hey (great) grandma, Loved our trips out to the backyard to birdwatch while you fed them and as they bathed in your bird bath, they are some of my earliest and happiest memories. I love looking back in the family albums and seeing you hold John and pawpaw holding me.

Sorry I never took you up on your offer to go bowling, one of my regrets in life. We will bowl again in Heaven, I promise.

You where a dedicated, all loving and amazing grandmother and wife to your husband Joseph Honhorst. I one day hope to follow your example in married life and make you proud, I couldn't ask for more.

To great grandpa, your prediction didn't come true! (Well it's debatable! We will discuss that when we meet again.); I hope one day to make you proud, and continue the sterling legacy that you left behind by somehow following in your footsteps. My fiance's father, before he passed away this year, was an SAPD officer from the early 80's to mid 2010's and even he knew your name and exploits and had a great deal of respect for you! Even Though you never met! Im proud to tell others of your exploits.

I know you and grandma are together somewhere beautiful looking down on us, and I promise to make you proud.

Love always, Anna Michelle Honhorst.
