Dorothy Heathcock Obituary
Dorothy Heathcock passed away April 25, 2009 at the age of 97. She is preceded in death by her parents, S.P. and Effie Popham, her daughter, Merle Louise Barager. She is survived by her daughter Dorothy Lois Johnson, grandchildren, Tracy Landry, Todd Landry, David Johnson, Dawn Drew, Michelle Collier, 7 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Helen Holland for taking wonderful care of Dorothy. She enjoyed gardening and just sitting and watching the birds and deer at sunset. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Floresville City Cemetery.

We at Pecan Valley Church of Christ miss her. Take comfort in the fact that she has gone to a better place. We must all keep the faith and plan to see her some day in heaven.
