I never got to meet Hal but I read his great articles. As anyone who has can tell you, if you read his work you felt like you knew him. He was a fine gun writer. My prayers are with you.

Mary and I are so sorry for the lose of your Dad. We know you and he spent many, many hours together in pursuit of a unique experience for him to write about. I always cherished my experience at the YO with your Dad, yourself and the opportunity to shake the hand of the peanut farmer from Floresville, something that would have never happened without your Dad's
generosity.

So sorry to hear of Hal's passing. He was indeed a valued friend and co worker both in the firearms industry and in service to the Lord. Never spent 5 minutes with him without the conversation turning to Jesus. I look forward to seeing him again.
