I was deeply saddened to hear of Betty's passing. I can't remember whether she was in any of my classes, but we worked together at the U.S. National bank downtown for about nine months in 1967, until I left to take a job at San Diego State, and she left later to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles. She was a very sweet person, and will be greatly missed. I was sorry I had lost contact with her. I always saw her at our reunions. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

John,

Mary and I were saddened over the loss of Betty. Even though we lost contact when you moved from Tierrsanta, we have good memories ever since our boys, Patrick and Jason, were playmates at Ceci's daycare. Plus, working with you in Council 7902, Knights of Columbus, was very enjoyable. We were talking last night about PGK dinners the four of us shared. Our prayers are with you and your family.

As I only attended Crawford during our sophomore year (transferring to Granite Hills), my memories of Betty are more from our days at Horace Mann. She was a sweet and beautiful young lady with a precious spirit. We attended a couple of school functions together and I was proud to be counted among her friends. My prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

I was so sadden to hear of Betty's death. I had her in several of my classes at Crawford and got to know her well. Betty and Lois were always together, one blond and one red headed but both short. Going down to the DMV always meant I could re- connect with her and hear about her family. She will be missed but she also will be remembered and I will smile when I hear her name. You are all in my prayers.

It's so sad to see so many friends from Crawford HS Class of 1964 passing away. Betty Jeane was truly a joy to know. Sharing classes with her was lots of fun. I remember she was so cute and a bit shy whenever she had to stand before the class to give a report or talk.

I believe every member of the 1964 Crawford graduating class that knew Betty would say she was one of the nicest persons in our class. It was with great sorrow to hear of her passing. Prayers to all of Betty's family for your loss.

I was very sorry to hear from Alan about Betty's passing. She was such a fun-loving, warm beautiful woman who loved to travel and loved her family. I will never forget that summer at Lake Tahoe when Tyler and Jason were still shorter than I (was it around 1994?). She was a lovely lady and I enjoyed time spent with her...I am sorry to hear of her passing but she is in a much better place that she can enjoy. Our best wishes to all the family, we are thinking of all the Schwetz and Cook families.

Our love to you.

I was so saddened to hear of Betty's passing. I worked with her for 19 years at the La Mesa and Spring Valley DMVs. She was there for me when I tragicaly lost my mother on Thanksgiving 1985, and she was always willing to listen when any of us had a problem. I know she will be missed, but I take comfort in knowing she is now in a better place, and is free from all pain. May God bless you all.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I graduated with Betty in 1964 and remember her as a Beautiful, quiet and so very sweet young lady. What a Blessing to have a wonderful memory of her. I was so Blessed to hear that she was a Christian woman. Being a Christian woman myself gave me such a peace of that "The Lord called her home" and she will be with our wonderful Lord in Heaven.

God Bless all of you,
