AMANDA, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio man was among four Marines killed last week when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in Iraq, a family spokesman said. Military officials told relatives in central Ohio over the weekend that Marine Lance Cpl. James Kimple died in al Anbar Province, said Tom Taylor, whose Amanda funeral home is handling arrangements for the 21-year-old. "They were returning from a combat operation, the vehicle was struck by an (improvised explosive device)," Taylor said. "There were three vehicles, the first and last were not struck. (Kimple) was in the second one." Kimple was returning from a mission, he said. Four Marines were killed May 2 in al Anbar Province. The Pentagon is not confirming their identities yet because some relatives still have to be notified. Kimple attended Bloom-Carroll High School, about 20 miles southeast of Columbus, and was on his second tour in Iraq. He was a married father of three children.
