We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let you and your family and friends know that we have made a small donation to the Gary Sinise Foundation in the name of Robert T. Johnson US Army Specialist.

The NC Run for the Fallen will honor fallen troops from North Carolina at a Memorial Run on Saturday, May 29th, 8:30am, Ayden Grifton High School track, Hwy 11 S. Ayden NC. I did not know Robert, but I am remembering
his service and sacrifice. He is my hero. !

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.

Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.

I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

I am Deeply Saddened to learn of the loss of Spc. Robert T. Johnson, one year ago today.
The price this Fine Young Hero and his family have paid for this country and for freedom, Will Never Be Forgotten.
May Robert rest safely in the Loving Care of God and may the Peace of the Lord be with the Johnson family.
There will never be enough ways to humbly thank these heroes for their Supreme Sacrifice, my brother among them. KIA~Vietnam, 1967.

Robert you were like the second brother I never had and I'm so greatful for everything you ever did for me. As the one year mark fastly comes my heart is full of greaf again. I miss you so much and I wish everyday that you were sitll here. It doesn't get any better, I just learn how to deal with the pain. Please be with your mama, she's the strongest woman I know. Robert you were a good boy and a good man. I new you well but not well enough. i appreciated the way you conducted yourself as a person and a warm friend. I sincerely and humbly appreciate how you died for My freedom all thou we wish you were right here. Your at the best place ever created and I hope to walk with you someday in heaven. I hope to talk of the old days on earth and how we don't even miss it. one thing i do miss here on earth--I miss you buddy.

You will truly be missed. You meant the world to me and people all around. Always Putting smiles on people face. There was never a dim moment with you. Thank you for all the confort and advice you gave. You were always there when I needed you. You Told me the truth even when it was not what I wanted to hear. Spc. Johnson, was a squared away solier in our company the 414th MPCO currently in Baghdad, Iraq. We all miss him alot, Rest in Peace my Brother.

Spc. Robert T. Johnson - another fallen Hero. Having just lost our son on 12/1 I know firsthand there are no words right now. Just know you are not alone in your grief. God Bless these courageous men and women who so selfishlessly have given their lives. My hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you and may God grant you peace and strength to get through this and once again be able to smile at a memory rather than have just the tears that flow so easily now. If you ever need anything, please let me know - talking helps - sometimes.
