I don't pretend to know what to say or do that would bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON (KIA on 07/06/07) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.
REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

Once again, the fact that he is not with us made my stomach drop, eyes water and knees weak. He was a great friend and so much more to me! I loved him very much, and I know many others did too. I feel guilty for taking his presence in my life for granted, but I remember all the good time's we shared! I remember the plans we made and were in the process of making that would unfold when he came back to me, that were suppose to happen when he returned home. Our plans won't unfold in this life time, and for that I shed a tear every day. I do know however I will be with him again one day and there and then we will be able to live the life we wanted. I could go on and on about Tom. Everyday is a taste of bitter-sweetness, the thought of evetually spending eternity with him, and the thought of not being with him today. Everyone keeps telling me that time will heal this pain. They say my love will slowly fade away, but for the past 9 months it has only grown, and somehow is still growing, missing and wanting you even more. Thomas you are loved more then you have ever known. You were taken from me, and all your loved ones, but we will never forget you! You will always be in my heart! The heart that was, is, and forever will be yours! Untill we meet again, I love you! All my love as promised, forever and always!"

Tom,
I'm so sorry we didn't keep in touch after I quit King Kullen. When I found out on the internet that you were KIA, I was in total disbelief. I remember when you used to call me while you were stationed in CO. I remember that day when you, me and Sean hung out and made fun of Mastic the whole time. Those were the days, huh? I miss you and I am eternally grateful to you and your bravery. Thank you for defending our country. I will never forget..
Love,
Jessica

Psalm 23
1
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
3
He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
This is a verse that I have found to be comforting to me during my husbands death. Remember that when it seems that no one else is round, God is still there with you! And he will be your rock! And that we now know our "Guardian Angel" personally!
My daughter,McKaLyne, and I send our heartfelt sympathy for your loss! God Bless this warrior, God Bless those whom serve freedom's cause! They are our true HERO's!!!!

To the family of one of the bravest soldiers I know-SPC Thomas J Wilwerth
I had the privelage to serve with SPC Wilwerth and be around his entertaining personality. I am in 1-8 Infantry, attached to Alpha Company. SPC wilwerth was in Headquarters Platoon with me and I was in the back of the bradley with him a few days before he left us, guarding some detainees for movement. It was just me and him in the back ready to rock n' roll if need be. He will NEVER be forgotten and will TRULY be missed. He is a HERO and a GREAT AMERICAN! SPC Wilwerth- I will continue to keep your family, friends and fellow Army brothers in my prayers.

Thomas, you will forever be in my eyes and heart. i just want to thank you for never putting a mad face on throughtout the time we shared, thank you for serving our courty to the fullest and dedicating your life for it. when i pulled up to Calverton Cemetary and saw all the fire trucks with drapped flags, police men lining the road way, and the military it hit me that there was only one way for me to talk to you now. i cant describe how much there is to say about you. i keep thinking about the time we went on our trip to Washington DC with ROTC tofind out we were getting snowed in, wemadethebest of it, 500 rummy was our fun times, dominos and chinese too.. and our random day last summer with Kerry out ofknowing going to the beach for hours on end, then getting ice cream soaking wet in beach water.we didntcaremuch wholookes atus, we were having the time of our lives that day.
Now, when i go to sleep at night your picture and Card is always by my head. Youll never in a lifetime be forgotten Tom, youll be truly missed as you are now by so many. i hope you looked down on your funeral so you can see how many people truly cared for you and what you did for not only them, but for the country.so many came and comfored your mom,dad and Kerry. It was a day of rememberence and we all did just that. TJ Wilwerth, i love you and will never forget you.

To the Family of Spc. Thomas J. Wilwerth,
My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courgeous young man who gave his life so selflessly. We lost our son 12/1/05.
I know first hand there are no words right now that will bring you the comfort and peace you need. Just know that you are not alone. My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you all as you mourn this loss. We don't know each other, will probably never meet, but will forever be united in the loss of our Heroes. We have, unfortunately joined a group, an ever-growing group of families in this situation. May God grant you peace and strength to get through this and be able once again to smile at a memory rather than have only the tears that flow so easily now. To be so proud of your loved one and so saddened at the same time is a mix of emotions very difficult to deal with. They will never be forgotten, never able to be replaced, but sometime, someday your memories will sustain you. This courageous soldier will forever now be your Angel watching over you all for the rest of your lives. It's what brings me peace and comfort and I hope it will you as well. If you ever want to talk, I'm only an e:mail away. God Bless this courageous soldier and his family.
