I miss you every single day Bryan we all miss you every single day. It´s been 18 years since you´ve passed away. God I still can´t believe it till this day. We looked up to you and loved you so much everyone misses you. You will always remain in our hearts cousin. You and your brother "Matthew" were me and Kyle´s heroes. I still remember everything like the time you and your friend hung me upside down by my ankles and all my hot wheels fell out lol. But that´s the memories I will always hold on to and cherish. It´s never good by , I will see you someday in the future. Just know you made a huge impact on everyone´s life that you came in contact with.

To the family of Lance Cpl. Bryan N. Taylor:
Please know that just as your loved one remains in your hearts and minds; his sacrifice, and that of your family, remains with the people he died defending. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for his bravery and selflessness, or the heartache we feel for your loss. God bless and keep you always.

Thank you Bryan for defending my Freedoms. It is because of great American patriots such as you that Americans continue to board airplanes with confidence and the people of this city can live without fear.

You will always be remembered with love and great pride by the grateful nation you served to protect.

Rest in peace.

I attended the unveiling of the memorial stone in honor of Brian yesterday at Miami Meadows Park. It is a very, very nice way to remember him, and yesterday was also a remarkable and grace filled tribute to your family. I wish you all the best - I will always remember Brian and honor his sacrifice.

To the family and friends of Bryan.
Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers today.

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you laughing as you used to do,
Yet loving all the things I think of you;
And knowing you are happy, should I grieve?
You follow and are watchful where I go.”

(Written by Marian Allen during World War l )

Two lines that I wish you to keep near your heart…….

“You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe”

Boo Boo- it has been almost two years since you went home to God. I still can't believe it's true. I have spent this time with mom, dad, and baby bro remembering all the good times. Life is hard sometimes for us without you here to mediate for us all- family and friends miss you so much it hurts. Your memory will always live on. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!!!

August 15, 2007

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.

Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.

I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

To the Family of Lance Cpl. Bryan N. Taylor

We are saddened by the news of the loss of your son Bryan. We only found out about two days ago. Your son Bryan and our son Lance Cpl. Matthew Parmley were roomates together at Camp Lejeune. Matthew did not tell us cause he did not want us to worry. His wife Amanda is pregnant and he knew how she would react. She knew (Taylor) that is what Matthew would always call him. She had met with him and talked to him several times on the phone. Our son did call today and we did let him know that we knew about Taylor's death. Your son had given Matthew a pink lighter, and to this day he still carries it, he says he keeps it in his pocket all the time. He is dealing with the loss of your son the best that he can, but I know that it has not been easy for him as well as the rest of Alpha Co. and more importantly the family. When Matthew would come home on leave he always talked about Taylor. I know they had some good times together, and our daughter-in-law thought the world of Taylor, he could always make her laugh. Me and my husband never met your son or ever talked to him, but the way our son and his wife would talk about Taylor, it is as if we knew him. Our prayers and our thoughts go out to your family. Your son will be sadly missed, but not forgotten! God bless you and your family.

To the Family of Lance Cpl Bryan Taylor:

I am so truly sorry for your loss. Although I have never met Bryan I feel a special kindred with you and all of the families who have lost a loved one in war. My fiance, USMC Lance Cpl Michael Cifuentes was killed 3 Aug 2005 by an IED in Iraq with 13 other Marines. I know how much your heart is hurting and aching for Bryan and your loss but please know that Bryan was and still is a hero in everyone's eyes. I will always keep Bryan and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Let's take consolation in knowing they are guarding heaven's gates now and that we all have special angels watching over us. Our family has established a support group for the families of fallen heroes - a club no one ever wants to join but can draw strength, support and love from. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in joining or want to know more about it. All branches of the service are represented and it is a way to support one another through these tryings time. May God Bless you and keep you. Always with Pride. Semper Fi.

Dear Taylor Family,

Even though we have never met, I feel as if we are a part of a "family". My daughter's fiancee was killed by an IED in Iraq on Oct. 3, 2005. It is my prayer that you will feel God holding you close to His heart just as He held my family. May you know His peace and comfort during these difficult days.

In His grace,

Bryan wrote "I am a Marine. Some people love us and the others hate us. We are from different homes, lives, etc. So why judge us all as a whole when we are not alike. I am proud of what i do and to serve the country that I do. We are here for you and your families. We are the ones who are willing to give our lives to make your life easier and safer. So please don't hate. I have seen a lot of good men lose their lives because of what their beliefs are. I honor these men everyday. I'm down to earth and I do cherish life everyday because I realize how easy it can be taken away from you".

We miss and love you so much Bryan. May God mend our heartache when we see each other again in heaven. Love Aunt Lisa, Uncle Joey, Kyle and Jaron.

Bryan was a good friend and he knew how to make people smile. He was so important to all of his friends! My family would like to let Bryans family and friends know that we are praying for you all and for Bryan. We were at the funeral today and it broke my heart to see all of his friends that are normally laughing together, crying in such sadness. Bryan is a brave, honorable hero and I am glad to say that he is a friend of mine. My prayers go out to you all and I will be thinking of you everyday. WE WILL MISS YOU TAYLOR!

Rest in peace at your last post in paradise.

April 12, 2006

To the Family of Lance Cpl. Bryan N. Taylor:

My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courgeous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guestbook for the rest of my life. We lost a son 12/1/05.

I know first hand there are no words right now that will bring you the comfort and peace you need. Just know that you are not alone. My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you all as you mourn this loss. We don't know each other, will probably never meet, but will forever be united in the loss of our Heroes. We have, unfortunately joined a group none of us wanted to join, an ever-growing group of families in this situation. May God grant you peace and strength to get through this and be able once again to smile at a memory rather than have only the tears that flow so easily now. To be so proud of your loved one and so saddened at the same time is a mix of emotions very difficult to deal with. I am sorry that I never knew your soldier personally, but none of these courageous men and women will be forgotten. They will never be able to be replaced, but sometime, someday your loving memories will help to sustain you. This courageous soldier will forever now be your Angel watching over you all for the rest of your lives. It's what brings me some measure of peace and comfort and I hope it will you as well. To his family and friends in pain, I offer this comfort. When you find yourself in that dark sorrowful place, think not only of how you will miss him, but instead recall the years, days, hours and minutes gifted to you by his presence. If you ever want to talk, I'm only an e:mail away and would love for you to tell me more about your Hero. God Bless this courageous soldier and family.
