Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers ([email protected]) is an organization with groups throughout the country who strive to send handmade prayer shawls and/ or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one in service to our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, PA would like to honor your son’s sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a shawl which we will mail to you. On the upcoming 2011 Memorial Day Holiday period I just want to say that the sacrifice of CPL. Mark Bibby and the many others who have given the ultimate sacrifice...will never be forgotten. May God Bless his and all the families of lost ones...and let us at least take a moment during the holiday weekend to remember them and be thankful for the time God gave them to us...and for their example of giving their lives in the service of their country...so that others might live freely. The NC Run for the Fallen will honor fallen troops from North Carolina at a Memorial Run on Saturday, May 29th, 8:30am, Ayden Grifton High School track, Hwy 11 S. Ayden NC. Each troop will be honored by a runner/walker who carries a flag in his memory for one mile. Please come join us in honoring our fallen troops. It's been almost six years since I've seen your smiling sweet face, receive your hugs and held your hand. It seems like a few days ago...I miss you, Markie. They said that it would get easier but it really doesn't. I see you in my dreams and remember your gentleness and caring spirit. You were always so positive, so pleasant, so encouraging to others. Dear Bibby,
I'm sorry I didn't keep in contact after basic training. We were so tight. You were my best friend (my big brother from another mother lol) there. You kept me motivated and laughing throughout those hard times.
I have been so torn since I found out you were gone (in the flesh). You will never be forgotten. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you... Thanks for the dreams that reassures me of your presence. And even though the tears flow uncontrollably....

It is difficult to know what to say since I want to express my sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Cpl Bibby. Please know that your loved one is not forgotten. I wish everyone impacted by this tragic loss strength and peace. I hope that Cpl Bibby knew that there are people in America who respect his great courage in serving as a member of the US military. Although I did not know him, I know that he must have been a very special person to be willing to do something that most Americans will never have to experience, and for that we can never say thank you enough.
