Your not forgotten. It seems like such a long time since 2019 so much has happened to the country you gave all for.
This nation owes you and your family, the families of all the fallen, missing and maimed our eternal gratitude. I accidentally came across this page back in 2016 or 17 while searching for a lost friend and the obituaries touched me in a very deep way. 18 years old. I hope it's a small help for your family to know their loss helped someone who was very lost find new hope. God Bless and Keep you.

See soldier, you are still touching hearts . Finding your story moved me a complete stranger to be grateful for your sacrifice. Someday all the marching, fighting and killing will stop. And your example will truly turn swords into ploughshares. God Bless .

Thinking of your sacrifice for us as our theater prepares for a benifit concert to build a home for a young man who lost 3 of his limbs to an IED Finding the prayer ribbon in a strange church has helped me undrand the love and meaning of Out of Many One in a way I never would have. I know I am a better man because of it. Thank You Kyle and God Bless your family as they journey on

Please know that just as your loved one remains in your hearts and minds; his sacrifice, and that of your family, remains with the people he died defending. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for his bravery and selflessness, or the heartache we feel for your loss. God bless and keep you always.

Prayer for Peace
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there us injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen

Yesterday I visited Marble Collegiate Church in Manhattan, While I am not sure why, they have a basket on an altar .....You can take a prayer or leave prayer....I picked two names and made a promise to myself to pray for the soldiers ....I was going to send them a Chirstmas Card ..etc...Upon researching your sons name I discovered the sad news he was one of the fallen...So now I will pray for his family at this time of year....hoping that some of the serenity I felt in holding his name in my hand will comfort them at this time....I am not especially spiritual and am in fact on a midlife journey to reconnect with whats important....I hope it helps you to know that somewhere in NYC a person is sincerely praying for you all and is deeply respectful of the sacrifice Kyle made for his country ..for all of us..You must have rasied a heck of a kid there....I believe nothing is ever really lost ...and your son somehow moved me to do more....be a kinder person and cherish the days he gave up unselfishly...Merry Christmas and thanks!

It is difficult to know what to say since I want to express my sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Lance Cpl Crowley. Please know that your loved one is not forgotten. I wish everyone impacted by this tragic loss strength and peace. I hope that Lance Cpl Crowley knew that there are people in America who respect his great courage in serving as a member of the US military. Although I did not know him, I know that he must have been a very special person to be willing to do something that most Americans will never have to experience, and for that we can never say thank you enough.
Thank you Lance Cpl Crowley!

The Wind on The Downs
“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you laughing as you used to do,
Yet loving all the things I think of you;
And knowing you are happy, should I grieve?
You follow and are watchful where I go.”
(Written by Marian Allen during World War l )
Two lines that I wish you to keep near your heart…….
“You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe”
I did not know Kyle, but he is my hero.

As this is the weekend that our nation remember's America's fallen children, I wanted to write to you and offer my deepest sympathy to your family. He was so young, and I did not know your family, but; my son is two years older than your son, and had graduated from Cal. High. I know, we all had plans and dreams for our children when they were young..The thought of losing a child, and not being able to be there to hold him, is not something that I , as a mother, can begin to fathom. God Bless your son, and God's strength to you.I, an American mom,send thanks and take this moment to remember YOUR son, Kyle D. Crowley
