On Veteran Day hearing salutations brings on remembering those more so than on regular days, who gave all praying to LORD GOD/ADONAI AND HIS SPIRIT to BLESS 1st soldier from California who after war on terror started on 9/11/2001, gave all, such as those I was deployed with and those I knew not such as SSG Prosser and all the KIA And Stateside Passed On Veterans/Service-members, to rest in peace/Fly High Army Angel/be of Shalom In PARADISE and INTO THE NARROW GATES OF ETERNAL HEAVEN later, in the name of JESUS/YESHUA CHRIST SON OF LORD GOD OF ALL& HIS HOLY CHOSEN ISRAEL, OUR SALVATION/EMMANUEL

I did not know you SSG Prosser but living in California I read the story letting us know how you and your battle buddies fought for our freedom worldwide. You all are not forgotten. God bless all KIA and Veterans in Heaven and their loved ones here.

I did not know you but saw your grave honoring you in So. Cal and read that you are the 1st soldier to die from CA in The War On Terror - and after reading about you SSG you inspired me to join the Army and to ask to be deployed.
Prayers to you and your loved ones - you and all soldiers who ever served in the US military in harm's ways, in all past and present wars, both who are alive or fallen, you are all never forgotten.
May The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit Bless and Angels Guide all our service-members both fallen and alive and their loved as well.

Cody, I thank you for your service. I now live in your hometown and I've gotten to know your brother Jarrod. I would just like to say to you and your family that me and my family are very grateful and proud of the untimate price that you paid for the liberty and freedom of your country. I'm also a veteran of twenty years with the Navy Seabees and I'm very proud to have served with you for the same cause. God Bless you and your family. You are truly an American Hero. Thank You!

Cody, yours was one of the very first deaths in our fight against terrorism. Dave Sr. and James& I were all so proud of you...still are. After all these years we still think of you. Your sacrifice was the ultimate one, and we know you died a true warrior and patriot. May God continue to Bless you and your family...Britt

Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you laughing as you used to do,
Yet loving all the things I think of you;
And knowing you are happy, should I grieve?
You follow and are watchful where I go.”

(Written by Marian Allen during World War l )

Two lines that I wish you to keep near your heart…….

“You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe”

I did not know Brian, but I am remembering
his service and sacrifice. He is my hero. !

The Other Side

i'm over on the other side
where life and death softly divide.
left my skin and bones behind
now i'm over on the other side.

can you feel me there with you?
my breath is gone but i'm not through.
loved you then and i still do
from over on the other side.

i can fly. really fly.
below the earth ... all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

it's good here on the other side.
the sweetest songs...the bluest skies.
thank you for the tears you cried
but it's good here on the other side.

i can fly. really fly. below the earth...all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side

the world is smaller than a needle's eye.
where life and death softly divide.
when you leave your skin and bones behind
i'll be waiting on the other side.

i can fly. really fly. below the earth ... all through the sky.
go tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

I did not know Staff Sgt. Prosser, yet he has inspired Soldiers and citizens alike to perform their duties with honor. Brain has served indirectly to bring about some of the greatest changes in my life.
My Gratitude for your families service and sympathy for your loss

July 27, 2007

If this person can stand in battle to ensure my freedom, then I will stand in grief with his/her family to honor him/her. For every fallen HERO there is a bright star that shines in the evening sky to remind us of the cherished gift we were given – even if for too short a time.
My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courageous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guestbook for the rest of my life, but I promised Le Ron A. Wilson (a dear friend KIA 7/6/07, 18yrs old) that neither he nor any like him would be forgotten and so I will continue until the day there is no longer the need.

Prayers from my heart to the Prosser family. Staff Sgt. Prosser is the true meaning of hero- a hero of honor. I did not know Staff Sgt. Prosser, yet he is an inspiration. Though I leave flowers its still not enough to express the full appreciation and honor felt for this hero. Staff Sgt. Prosser is in heaven, an angel now, flying high along side St. Michael.
May God and all the angels grant your family peace and blessings.
