I am another gal from Buchanan. I too have memories of Jim and the family. He baptized Lee and Pauline Raven, my mom and dad. I have their little New Testaments that he signed. We need more preachers today like him. Frances (Raven) Avers

I knew Jim when I was very young. He was the minister of our church in Buchanan. He was there when I went to my first week of camp and got homesick. He taught me about the Lord and baptized me. I always think of him as joyful and caring. He also baptized my Mom and Dad that made us a complete family. I know you will miss him, but we know that he is with the Lord and singing praises I'm sure. Bob, I share your birthdate. Dad was a very special man and I am blessed to have known him
