SMITH, Audrey M. Switzer 83 beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 18, 2007 in Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on January 11, 1924, the daughter of Andrew P. and Minnie P. (Stinson) Parsell. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Dan P. Switzer in 1990; and three brothers Clyde, Ralph, and Richard Parsell. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church (currently attending Hillside Ave Church of God); VFW Post 1031 Auxiliary; Elderly United; and was a Clark Co Chapter of the American Red Cross volunteer. Her hobbies included sewing and crocheting. Audrey had been a sales clerk with Spiegel and a telephone operator with Ohio Bell and Wittenberg, but her greatest joy was taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Warren G. Smith, whom she married February 21, 1999; one son Dan G. and Jane A. Switzer; two daughters Dana L. and Tom L. Wilson all of Springfield and Danita K. and Bernie Myers of Aurora, CO; one brother William and Sherry Parsell of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters Alma Uptegraph and Emma Estep both of Springfield; four grandchildren Dan G. and Jenn Switzer of Hilliard, Jeffrey A. Switzer of Baltimore, Maryland, Adrienne D. Jackson of Springfield, and Quintin Myers of Aurora, CO; two great-grandchildren Ashlynne and Cade Jackson; step-children Kevin J. and Kathleen Smith of Windham, ME, and Bonnie Nathanson of Portland, ME ; many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 4-7 pm in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services will be Wednesday at 2:30pm in the memorial home with Michael Criner and John Wilson officiating. Burial to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the staff of Forest Glen Health Campus for their compassionate care. Memorial contributions are requested to the Clark Co Chapter of the American Red Cross or the Alzheimer's Association. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.
