Oscar Olinger Obituary
Oscar Remington Olinger,Jr., age 80, of Bealeton died on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Countryside Assisted Living, in Pratts, Virginia.
Mr. Olinger was born on December 6, 1927 in Remington, a son of Oscar R. Olinger Sr. and Mary Parkey Payne Olinger.
He enjoyed work and had been employed at Safeway, Lorton Correctional Facility, Con Tel and Food Lion and then as Wal-Mart as a greeter.
He is survived by two sons; Perry Lee Olinger, of Remington and Jeffrey Allen Olinger, of Bealeton. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert Eugene Olinger and Aubrey James Olinger, both of Bealeton and four grandchildren; Mary Catherine Olinger, Sarah Lee Olinger, Shelby Moriah Olinger and Jacob Peyton Olinger.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton. Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Remington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fauquier SPCA, P.O. Box 733, Warrenton, VA 20188.
