To me, my Grandmother was a true southern lady. She had grace, manners and the unique ability to make everyone smile. I am missing her very much. But I know she is feeling so much better now because she is with the Lord.

Aunt Mag got it right, Annie IS a saint.
I was just in awe of her when I was visiting you all. She was so welcoming and sweet that it just melted my heart. And she stayed up late with me one night and told me lots of great stories about my grandpa, and I will always be so thankful for that.
I think Annie is such a great example of living the way God wants us to. It was inspiring to me, for sure.

Mrs. Adams
That is all that needs to be said about this lady.
She was like a mother to me, whom I loved. Joe, Bobby, and Pat are my brothers and sisters, who I also love dearly.
The Bible speaks of lovers of God in this manner "...Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on."
"Yes," says the Sprit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." Revelation 14:13 "The death of deaths, in the death of Christ, has freed all those who have faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord." Mrs. Adams had faith, and she didn't die, she got promoted to heaven.
If she were here now she would tell all of us "death ain't no big deal!"
She had a fear of death, until the Angels came. Then peace came into her heart. She knew it was time to go home.
The Bible teaches that God has assigned the angels to see us safely home. Jesus, in Luke 16 tells of the beggar who dies, that "he was carried by the angels. He was not escorted, but carried.
What it must have been like, to depart from pain and suffering, and life's difficulties and problems, to immediately be surrounded by angels and be carried by them to a glorious welcome in Heaven and see the Lord Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Adams has gone home, and I will miss her. But before long we, all who know The Lord will see her in heaven, in the presence of God.
Love ,
Donnie Clayton

My dear Aunt Annie....I cherish her, and I am honored that I share her name. She was always an angel of an aunt. Eddie remembers when he was first with Westinghouse, and was sent from Pittsburgh to the lamp plant in Reform...how she and Uncle Earl took him in and made him feel like "family". I took my northern "nurse friends" down to Alabama many years later; we went to see Aunt Annie and she, of course, insisted on cooking dinner for us, and my friends remember her as a highlight of our trip. I remember her from my childhood as someone we always looked forward to seeing...whether it was for her great creamed corn or other wonderful food she always had ready for us...but she was a rock for our family and for Uncle Earl...always a beautiful lady and never faltered in her love for her family. She was a grand presence here on earth, and I'm sure the angels in heaven welcome her with the love she gave and the love that was felt for her here. She will truly be missed, and she gave all she had while she shared in our lives. With much love to my cousins Bobby, Joe amd Pat....Ann

I have heard many wonderful stories about my Great Aunt Annie as I was growing up and into my adult years. I know I met her when I was little and was named after her daughter Pat. The stories tell about her simple loving kindness to all she met, and how she touched the lives of all around her with a special joy. I share in your sorrow at this time but also your gladness that she is now without pain and suffering. Wish I could be with you-please know you are in my thoughts and prayers Bobby, Pat and Joe and family. Love, Patty (Baumgardner) Summers
