Patrick L. LeBlanc, born March 21, 1954; architect, general and residential contractor, entrepreneur, community leader and devoted family man, died in a plane crash in North Vermilion Parish during the evening of March 10, 2008. A native of Lafayette, Patrick lived on Verot School Road in Youngsville, La.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Jennifer Scialdone, two children, Liee' and Patrick, Jr., and two step-sons, Michael Charles and John Piccione, his mother Jacqueline Francez LeBlanc, two brothers, Maurice and his wife Brenda LeBlanc of Lafayette; Michael and his wife Julie LeBlanc of Baton Rouge; his aunt Beverly and her husband Norris Guidry; his uncle Emile and his wife Jane LeBlanc. He is preceded in death by his father, L. Jaco LeBlanc; his maternal grandparents, Maurice and Nadine Francez and his paternal grandparents, George and Bernice LeBlanc.
Visitation was held at Martin and Castille Funeral Home, Thursday, March 13, 2008, from 3:00-8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Continued visitation will be held at Martin and Castille Funeral Home, Friday, March 14, 2008, from 8:00-10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Father Joseph Dilettuso, a close family friend from Biloxi, Ms. will officiate the Mass and conduct the funeral service. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
