Anna Particiauone Obituary

Anna T. (Palumbo) Particiauone, 87, formerly of Seabury Heights died peacefully Tuesday, April 1, 2008, surrounded by her loving family in the University Commons. Her husband Anthony J. Particiauone died in 1987. Anna is survived by four devoted daughters, Carmella Constanzo and her husband Robert of Oxford, Judith Chiancola and her husband Charles, of Leesburg, Florida, Terry Ann Renaud and her husband Edward of Webster, and Debora Vuona and her husband Gerald of Worcester; nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. Anna was predeceased by four brothers, Leo, Frank, Joseph, and Orlando Palumbo, and three sisters, Carmella Argentati, Antoinette Panzera, and Philomena Pacenka.

Anna was born in Worcester daughter of Antonio and Leonora (Cirelli) Palumbo and lived here all her life. She worked at the Tupper Company and also was a housekeeper at St. Paul's Cathedral for many years before she retired. Anna was a life time parishoner of Our Lady Of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church, and a member of the Golden Years Club, and their Outreach Ministry. She was a devoted member of the San Vitaliano Women's Society for many years, and also belonged to the former Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 201. Anna was also a member of the Mothers Guild at the Venerini Academy, and the Mothers Club at Gage Street School. Anna enjoyed traveling and crocheting. She enjoyed being with her family and will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.

Anna's funeral will be held Friday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady Of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours in the funeral home are 4-8 P. M. on Thursday. Entombment will be in St John's Mausoleum.
