Dear Aunty Rosie and cousins, I will miss and will always have wonderful thoughts of my Uncle. Once a month I spend my drill weekends in the Coast Guard Reserves at the Point Judith station in R.I. We go by his slip where he kept the Irish Mist regulary, I remember the great times he/we shared there. He will always be in my thoughts, David Cobb.

To the Entire Gallagher Family,
On behalf of the staff of St. Camillus Health Center, I want to thank you for allowing us the honor of caring for Bob, and for you, over the last 2 and a half years. We see many different levels of family involvement - yours is by far one of the most present and active families we have encountered. Your contributions to our St. Camillus family extended to every memeber of our community, and for that we will be forever grateful. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

I offer my deepest respects to the Gallagher family. I worked with Bob in the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office.
I am one of thousands whose life was touched by Bob. He was always a pleasure to be with, and brought his exceptional intellect, humor and generosity to all situations. I will remember Bob with great respect and fondness. He lived a very full life very well.

Dear Rose,
We are on vacation in N.C. and for the first time in a week, I decided to check the Telegram online. The first thing I saw was that your dear Bob has gone to his everlasting home - praise God. I will be in touch when we return but want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

For my dear freind Jane & her family,
Safely Home
by Unknown
I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's Will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth--
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!
Jane & Family,
You are not far from my thoughs & prayers. I only wish that I could be there for you. Please know that I''m thinking of you and wish you comfort at this most difficult time and remember that now your father knows no pain, suffering and he is looking down upon his family knowing who they are and how proud he is of all of you.
