Richard Lindberg Obituary

Richard Sibley Lindberg, 72, of Colby Road, died March 31, 2008 peacefully at Lakes Region General Hospital, in Laconia, after a five year battle with cancer.

Born in Worcester, on March 23, 1936, he was the son of John and Marion (Sibley) Lindberg.

He is survived by his wife of 50 year Sarah A. (Swan) Lindberg of Moultonborough, NH. His children Donna Beshai of Worcester, MA. Ronald "Rusty" Lindberg and wife Denise of Holden, MA. Debra Joubert and husband Daniel of Rutland, MA. Sandra Savageau and husband Edward of West Boylston, MA; 7 grandchildren Melissa Joubert, Jessica and Leah Savageau, Tyler and Emily Lindberg, Lindsey and Gina Beshai; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother Charles Lindberg of Peabody, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held in the Moultonborough United Methodist Church, Moultonborough, on Saturday April 26th at 2pm. The Rev. Barbara Cann, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be held in the All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester, on Tuesday at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Annie Fort's "UP" Syndrome Fund, Inc., PO Box 838, Moultonborough, NH 03254 or at:

The Mayhew Funeral Home, in Meredith, is in charge of the arrangements.
