Kathryn Direnzo Obituary
She leaves her husband, James H. Direnzo Sr.; two sons, James H. Direnzo, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Leicester and Chester M. Direnzo and his wife, Jennifer of Northbridge; four grandchildren, Anthony, Hannah, Matthew and Benjamin Direnzo; a brother, James Haglund of Worcester; three sisters, Jayne Leardi and Nancy Augusto, both of Worcester and Carol Grindley of Millbury; her mother-in-law, Joyce Direnzo of Millbury; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Priscilla G. (Litchfield) Haglund and two brothers, Steven and Robert Haglund.
Kathryn was a home maker and a former cashier at Shaw's Super Market in Northbridge.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, May 29th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, 356 Boston Rd. in Sutton. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery in Sutton. Calling hours are 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 28th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Condolence book and directions available at:

She was friendly, outgoing, optimistic, and so much fun to talk to. We will miss her sense of humor the most. She could always see the bright side. We're better people for knowing and loving her.
